Words can't even explain my experiences with Michelle!

I had found the wedding dress that I just had to have but it was completely out of my budget. My soon to be Sister-in-law at the time had mentioned she had met a bride at the photographer she worked with who had started up her own bridal business. So we got in touch with Michelle and from that day forward the rest of my wedding planning days were worry-free. I was able to buy the wedding gown of my dreams from Michelle and still stay within my budget. Not only did I save money, I also made a friend. Michelle is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. She was so helpful and patient with me that is was almost too good to be true. Since I had such a great experience purchasing my dress from Michelle, my fiancˇ and I also ordered our wedding invitations from her. She had a wide variety of sample books to look through so that we could find the invitations that fit our needs. Her product knowledge and experience with the companies assisted us to quickly choose the perfect invitations!!! When the invitations came in Michelle sat down with me to make sure all the spelling was correct and helped me count each item to ensure we had the proper amount.

Every experience with Michelle was like spending the day with your sister or best friend sipping coffee in a cafˇ. She just made everything so easy and relaxing for me. She offered us beverages when we went to her house to place orders, and just provided such a warm and relaxing environment. I never stressed out with any order that I placed with Michelle, because I knew that if there was an issue that she would take care of it for me!!

I even called Michelle with a tiara emergency I was having with one of the Bay Area Bridal stores. The tiara I ordered wasn't arriving as promised from the bridal store that I ordered it from. After a few months of unreturned phone calls and a dozen of broken promises from this store I threatened to cancel my order with them in fear that my tiara wouldn't arrive on time for my wedding day. I called Michelle and left a message telling her about my crisis and she immediately called me back. She had done research for me to help me find an alternative solution. She even gave me a referral to one of her associates who sold hair jewelry and tiaras and offered to make the trip with me to her shop to help me find what I was looking for. Michelle always went above and beyond the call of duty and always with an enthusiastic, positive and friendly attitude, something you will never find at a retail bridal store!!!!!

I have referred all my friends and family to Michelle, even the ones from out of town! I have told them about my wonderful experiences with her and have encouraged them to do as much business with her as possible, and they have!! Not just because they can save a few bucks here and there but also because working with Michelle allows you as a bride to enjoy all the planning of your special day and not have the stress that is so often associated with it. Michelle is one of the sweetest most sincere people I have ever met and you will never walk in or out of her home or office without a huge smile!!

I have been planning my wedding for the past year, and I started out going to all the bridal shops you could think of in the East & South Bay. Then I met Michelle, and I haven't shopped at a bridal shop since. The bridal shop prices and service don't even compare to Michelle Dumas.

With regard to price, I have purchased everything from Michelle for at least 30% less than the bridal shops. My bridesmaids shoes were priced at $46 at one of the bridal shops, and I got them from Michelle for $26. My favors were priced at $3.75 at the gift center, and I got them from Michelle for $2.75. I just wish I would have met Michelle 6 months earlier because I made the mistake of ordering my dress right after I got engaged, and I could have gotten my wedding dress for 30% off too. Don't believe the bridal shops when they say they have a special contract with the designer, and you could only order the couture line from them.

With regard to service, Michelle is extremely reliable and very responsive. I went back to the bridal shop where I purchased my wedding dress so I could get a price on the gloves. They treated me so awful because they realized I was only there for an accessory, and I wasn't there to purchase a wedding dress so they ignored me for 25 minutes. I ended up leaving the bridal shop and e-mailed Michelle. Michelle sent me all the information I needed and the gloves were almost half the price of the bridal shops gloves.

Bridal shops may treat you well when they think you are going to purchase an expensive dress from them, but as soon as you buy your dress, you never see or hear from them again. Michelle is by far one of the nicest, most genuine people I've ever met in my life. I truly feel I have found a friend in Michelle. I have not met anyone who has worked at a bridal shop that I have wanted to invite to my wedding. After working with Michelle for the past 6 months, I invited her to my wedding, and I intend to keep in touch with her even when my wedding planning is over.
